An Exhibition of New Work 4th Oct 2020-16th October

In light of changes my exhibition this year will be visible from the street in Stromness through the windows of the Northlight Gallery and a house across the road from Northlight.

I paint Stromness from the street. I try and catch the light and hold onto the form. All of these works are oil on wood

I went to Glasgow School of Art to study Drawing and Painting. I graduated in 98. In 2002-4 I was awarded a bursary to Study at The Prince's Drawing School. During that time I started working outside, drawing and painting London as well as studio work. Drawing and painting from outside has become integral to my practice. It has brought me home to Orkney,
