This is an aquatint. It is the watercolour of etching copper. You work from the lightest tone to the darkest. At Soulisquoy Print Studio we practice etching with acrylic resists.
Black Dolores ii
In 2009 I collaborated with a Shetland poet Christie Williamson on his publication of Shetlandic translations of the poetry of Lorca. I relooked at Black Dolores this year.
