- Mix the ink so it is at a dropping consistency
- Use the little squeegee to work in the ink, revolving the plate as you go
- Work ink in with the dabber
- Have ½ m of scrim in a loose pad
- Work in ink, think of Van Gogh’s Starry night , turning ink in
- Now slowly start to work ink out. Turn the plate, turn it again removing slowly ink off the surface but not out of the grooves
- A final polish with tissue paper
