A set of 8 large etchings 4 of which have come to edition /50. This one is called “The Marriage”. They are transcriptions from William Hogarth’s series. I know David Hockey has done another etching series called The Rake’s Progress. I’m a big fan of Hockney but this series was looking at Picasso’s Guernica and modernism in relation to William Hogarth’s series.
