Flower Painting at Stromness Academy. This class can be booked through the Orkney Islands Council. Materials not provided but instruction plentiful. Flowers and the natural world are a great way into painting. They have colour, life and form and challenge us to do them justice.

I went to Glasgow School of Art to study Drawing and Painting. I graduated in 98. In 2002-4 I was awarded a bursary to Study at The Prince's Drawing School. During that time I started working outside, drawing and painting London as well as studio work. Drawing and painting from outside has become integral to my practice.
